Welcome to my production and song writing profile on this site. As a producer I have had the opportunity to work with many talented artists from all over the world. In many instances I co-write with most of the artists and then I produce the track and release it on the DEAD Famous label through our worldwide network of both physical and digital distribution partners. Michael A Puskas has a proven twenty seven year track record in the international entertainment industry and is the CEO and owner of Astral Records & Music, DEAD Famous Artists and MPM Artist Management in Australia and around the world. Astral Records is a boutique label with an internationally based artist roster that boasts some thirty plus artists released worldwide from all over the globe with our various label partners like Blastzone/Nightmare Records in the US and C4 / Arbor Records in Canada etc.
In addition he is a published writer and composer with Warner / Chappell Music in Scandinavia. He also is proud of a strong and well established track record in music production for both artists and film and television scores. His most recent credits include, music supervisor roles on Partisan Pictures latest feature, "Shattered" which is in post production for Lions Gate Films in the US. He was also commissioned by Taffy Entertainment / Mike Young Productions based in LA to write and produce the opening theme for the new US animated children's television series for Discovery Kids entitled, "Growing up Creepie". This cutting edge series recently aired on Discovery Kids/NBC in the US and has just been syndicated worldwide via Nikelodeon and is also currently airing on ABC TV on the prime time kids format "Rollercoaster".
In addition he produced some (50) plus original songs and demos for various local and international artists during 2006/2007. Some of these productions have been licensed into major film, Television and advertising platforms around the world. These include without limitation the OC (WB), One Tree Hill (ABC), Smallville (WB), The Horse Whisperer (Bravo), Room Raiders, Dismissed, Meet the Barkers, Punkd, Making the Band (MTV Networks), Oxygen (Clear Channel Cable), Fuel TV, Fox Sports among others.
He along with his production partner, Clarence Jey have a well established digital studio running a Nuendo 3.0 platform based in Victoria, and continue to be at the forefront of the new music market in local production in their hometown state of Melbourne in Australia.

Most recently Michael has signed on as Music Supervisor for the new children’s fantasy style series entitled, “Callabar Stoneage Warrior” which is slated for production for a national network in Australia in the latter half of 2007. He also confirmed the role of music supervisor on the Partisan Pictures feature, “Shattered” which is in post production for the company and seeking both domestic and international distribution at the moment. |
