Went to the opening of The Gentse Feesten like every year and everybody thought the same as us.Never seen such a huge  crowd there for years. I teamed up with Monster-inc and we fought our way through the crowd heading towards St Baaf's plein where we where surrounded by two lovely cathedrals/churches, St Baafs and the Belfort. Luck was with us. We managed to grab the last free table and the band we wanted to see just started to play. If you missed The Vipers, http://www.thevipers.be/  you missed a heck of a performance. They rock. They play the best covers of The Rolling Stones, Deep purple and AC/DC you ever heard . Their leadsinger Peter sounded superb but when, Patsy, their guest singer, joined in, boy what a voice they got on them. They blow your head of.We also met one of their fans from the first hour, Tsjok. (The Vipers perform since the late 60’ and their hit Lucky Lucky still makes you dance.) It was the Monster’s birthday and Tsjok gave her The Vipers new CD  “That’s live” and made her a happy bunny.After The Vipers and a few drinks we headed towards Polé Polé  http://www.polepole.be We tried to take some pictures but we where carried away by the crowd and the photo's are looking a bit strange.
